Deuce by Dussault

Marching to the beat of his own drum, Jason Dussault created yet another interesting fashion experience.  He has successfully made high fashion out of  hoodies and t-shirts.  As an artist, Jason is able to visualize an entire concept and transform something ordinary into something edgy, leaning over to the darker side of art.  Shirts with Jason Dussault look-alike bouncer men on them are sported by a serious crew of Barwatch girls in a fashion show to introduce the Deuce by Dussault brand at the Trends Apparel Convention in Edmonton.  The Deuce line is meant to be more affordable allowing Dussault to reach a larger market.

To add a little extra spice to the show, Jason had Mashiah and her Burlesque dance friends perform.  The show was a great success and proved to be beneficial for the Deuce line.

How It All Began

Hands on and at home in a Studio.

Many people know Dussault Apparel from the huge breakout of their LA flagship store.  Celebrities galore filled the store for the grand opening partyCriss Angel, Gene Simmons and Kat Von D were among them. There is a general sense that you haven’t really ‘made it’ until you’ve hit it big in the States, most specifically Los Angeles, California.  Before making the leap to the Melrose location though, Jason Dussault made a solid name for himself in Vancouver, Canada.  He built the Dussault Empire up one hoodie at a time with innovative marketing techniques.

Confidence in Quality

Nothing’s going to bring him down.  Jason Dussault knows he has a product worth paying for.  During these tough economic times he has had to face a few realities, but still believes there is a strong clientele base for his apparel line.  Jason believes that people will pay for a high quality item, they just won’t buy as many.  In a time where individuals have begun to feel socially conscious about showing off their designer wear out of guilt, Dussault Apparel doesn’t carry the same stigma as Gucci or Louis Vuitton.

Jason has always insisted on his clothing meeting the highest standards.  His shirt is made from bamboo, because it’s better for the environment.  His face is on it, because he has been heard saying, “there’s no point having your own company, if you can’t put your face on a shirt!”

Experiments in Character

Never at a loss for creative ideas, Jason Dussault is constantly evolving his marketing techniques.  The majority of the time, sex appeal or rocking celebrity cool living are at the forefront of his themes.  One of his tactics was to create gritty yet fabulous mini-films.

Jason has a strong, character driven personality and when it came time to show off the quality of his Dussault Apparel travel bags, he took a different approach and let humor be the star.  He decided to provide his potential clients with a glimpse into the highly secretive testing facilities at Dussault Laboratories.  Although light hearted in nature, this video contains scenes of aggression and viewer’s discretion is advised.  Be sure to read the disclaimer at the end!
